Born and raised in Silicon Valley, Kristian Gallagher worked in the tech industry for 25 years as an art director for Fortune 100 companies such as HP and Apple. In 2018 she moved to Hawaii and founded Modern Tropical, a design brand providing art and home decor to retail and wholesale audiences.
Aside from art and design, Kristian is obsessed with the ocean. You will usually find her within sight of it whether on an island, cruise ship, or visiting a coastal city. Sometimes she photographs them.
